Abstract: Introduction of human intelligence vis a vis artificial intelligence along with its various applications like game playing, expert systems, natural language understanding and processing, perceptions and robotics. The lecture also focused on various types of intelligence such as agent and multi-agent systems, machine intelligence, data mining and web intelligence. Intelligent web applications such as Google News, Amazon online retail stores and Netflix are already making big strides. Case studies like Google Duplex and Marc Zukerberg’s Jarvis were discussed and their videos shown.

Brief CV of the Speakers:

Shri Harit Mohan: Harit is CEO & Founder of Signicent Information Solutions LLP, a successful patent research and analytics company based out at Mohali. He has done his MS in Biotechnology from IIT-Madras in 2008. He has also done specialization course in Entrepreneurship from University of Maryland College Park, United States.
In his 10 years of experience in the IP industry, he has held several key positions. He has worked with clients from over 20 countries and has advised to CEOs, General Counsels, Patent professionals, R&D heads and inventors. He has a bouquet of experience spanning to areas like patent prosecution, litigation, searching and analysis, landscaping and competitive intelligence.
Harit is also an active follower and contributor at PIUG and LES groups at USA. He has also been at Strategic and Competitive Intelligence Professional (SCIP) conference in Washington and two of his research works have been published in 238th American Chemical Society’s National Meeting and Elsevier’s Scientific Journal, respectively.
He has also given talks from the platforms of All India Management Association (AIMA), Chandigarh Management Association (CMA), Ministry of Human Resource and Development (MHRD), Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) and various colleges and universities in India, USA & Europe

Sushil Kumar: Sushil has experience of about 5 years in the IPR field in Electronics & Telecommunication. His expertise areas in electronics are Wireless Communication, Power Electronics and Semiconductor Fabrication and Bio-Medical devices. He has done his engineering in Electronics and has also done courses on IPR from World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). He has also done certification courses in Satellite communication i.e. VSAT and SATCOM. He has worked directly with US companies in the area of Artificial Intelligence and Block Chain Technology.
