Dharam Vir is an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur and IIT Kanpur. He is Co-Chair of Pan IIT India and Vice President of IITK Alumni Association. He has co-authored a book on IIT Kharagpur on the occasion of its Diamond Jubilee in 2011.
The lecture presented the historical development of first five IITs from early 1940s to early 1960s.
