Mobile Science Laboratory visited today at Govt. Girls High School, Shahabad (Markanda) in district Kurukshetra.
Forty-four Girls of 9th & 10th Classes performed many hands-on-experiments that included litmus papers and pH papers, use of artificial indicators to identify base nature of liquids, formation of magnesium oxide, decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, use of magnets to generate electricity, generation and propagation of sound waves, laws of Newton, reflection in plane mirrors, concave and convex mirrors, formation of real and virtual images etc.
Principal, Sh. Harjinder Singh says, “the program of Mobile Science Lab was quite innovative and knowledgeable for the students. Students enjoyed a lot and learnt new methods of simple experiments. The program was quite successful for the students as well as teachers”.
