SPSTI in association with Maur Education Welfare Society conducted an online Career Counseling & Goal Setting session which was attended by more than 500 students through Zoom & Facebook jointly.
The webinar began with invaluable opening remarks from Shri Dharam Vir, IAS (Retd.) & Former Cheif Secretary of Haryana.
Er. M.L. Garg, Fellow of Institute of Engineers, who is an Educator, Social Entrepreneur & Science Communicator and Mr. Nikhil Garg, a motivational speaker were the keynote speakers.
Shri Dharam Vir emphasized that students should not be pressurized to study all the time. Infact, they should be motivated for other activities like sports, reading newspapers etc. He also stressed to adopt the text books instead of help books and focus on problem solving independently.
Er. Garg, in his two hours of session for the students of classes 9th-10th and 11th-12th separately, discussed plethora of options for the students after 10th and 12th through his attractive slides. He also explored on how to decide the streams based on one’s interest and discussed about combination of appropriate subjects.
Students from different parts of India participated in the session actively by asking variety of questions, which were taken and clarified by Er. Garg & Mr. Nikhil jointly.
