Punjab State Council for Science & Technology in association with SPSTI is conducting a three days’ workshop on “Visual Explanation of Geometrical Theorems” at Kurukshetra on Sept. 21-23, 2021. The workshop is catalyzed and supported by National Council for Science & Technology Communication, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India.
The resource person, Mr. Gurmeet Singh, is a retired teacher from Department of School Education, Government of Punjab. He has experience of thirty seven years in teaching science and mathematics at different levels. He has devised many teaching aids to teach mathematics and geometry practically to the students to enhance their understanding. He has three patents in developing kits for visual explanation of Geometrical theorems. He has been awarded with State Award and Shiksha Ratan award from Government of Punjab and National award from NCSTC, Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India for his outstanding efforts in popularizing science and technology at grassroot level. He has attended and delivered in more than 200 workshops across the country.
