SPSTI, in association with Chandigarh Chapters of NASI, INSA, and INYAS, has initiated a new series of lectures titled as ‘Visions of Institutions in North West India in run-up to India@100 in 2047’. The first lecture in this series was delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Vivek Lal, Director, PGIMER Chandigarh on September 05, 2022 on the Vision for PGIMER Chandigarh.

The NEXT LECTURE in this series is going to be held on NOVEMBER 12, 2022.  This lecture would be held to commemorate National Education Day, the birthdate of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad (November 11).

Prof. J. Gowrishankar, Director, IISER Mohali will speak on ‘Vision for IISERs’. The Guest of Honour will be Prof. Ramesh Kapoor, (Retd.), Dept. of Chemistry, Panjab University, Chandigarh & School of Chemical Sciences, IISER Mohali. Prof. Kapoor had the privilege to deliver the first lecture to the new students as IISER Mohali began in 2007.
